ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

LIVING IN FAITH
Facilitators:
Darren Aghabeg, Yvonne Chapman, Donna Gambill, Jana Manning
Room 111
Living by Faith, adult Sunday School class, meets 9:30 a.m. in Room 111. Five facilitators, Darren Aghabeg, Yvonne Chapman, David Cummings, Donna Gambill, and Jana Manning, rotate turns teaching Scriptural lessons.  In the past few months, we have studied the following: Micah, Song of Solomon, John 12-21 (Jesus last week on earth), Paul’s Letter to the Romans, and The Apostles Creed.

We are continuing our study of the Judges of Israel. Many favorite stories from Bible history are found in the Book of Judges. When the Israelites entered the Promised Land, God provided an opportunity to live in peace and prosperity. Repeatedly, Israel turned away from God, worshiped idols, and lived according to the heathen culture around them. Periods of enslavement brought them to repentance, only to repeat their sins again. During this historical period, God raised up judges to deliver Israel.

Please join us. Living by Faith, adult Sunday School class, meets 9:30 a.m. in Room 111. Sunday School is a comfortable way to get to know other members of Faith Presbyterian: we begin class with prayer concerns, including our personal needs, those of friends, family, and even the nation. During the Bible lesson, you can simply listen, or speak up and share your thoughts on the topic or other matters on your heart. Join us during April as we continue with stories of Deborah, Gideon, Samson, and others.
